We deal in Crewel Embroidery Fabrics, Chainstitch Rugs and Shawls. As we find talented artists who create fabric work, we add them to our creative family. Our family business has existed for many generations. We have earned recognition as the best designers, manufacturers and exporters of these products to most of the crewel dealers on the continent and receive many requests for special designs, colour combinations and specific furnishing of our products. We respond to these requests with ease. We provide the world with what is the heaven of handicrafts.
The handicrafts of Kashmir are considered an important part of the heritage of our rich culture. For though handicrafts fulfill a utilitarian need in daily life, they also serve to satisfy the aesthetic hunger in man and provide a vehicle of his need for self-expression. The exquisite beauty of the products has evolved at the tender fingers of our beautiful and talented people. Their work has been appreciated from royal places to modest homes in all parts of the world.
The beauty of our company lies in the unique expression of each product. No two items of handicrafts are alike, for each is a unique creation. Standardization in creation would negate all that these handicrafts stand for. Everyone likes to express themselves in the articles they choose to surround themselves with, even in the variety of articles for everyday use. This means we value a wide range of choices, even in the clay water pots and pans, clothes and garments with distinctive colours and designs, which break the monotony which deadens our senses in this technological age. Handicrafts stand as symbols of our creativity and uniqueness as compared to the dull repetition of mass production. Mechanization and mass production is an unfortunate trend in the field of handicrafts. Our company presents a reassuring establishment, with its elaborate handwork techniques, passed down from generation to generation. Our designers, weavers and workers have great expertise in their skill and they put their heart into every item created.
The aforesaid production and trading activity is a partnership concern managed and supervised by Mr. Khrusheed Ahmad Naqash. The firm is divided into three sections for the purpose of promoting quality manufacturing and best trading skill. Mr. Khrusheed Ahmad Naqash is the founder and mentor to all in our firm. He also supervises the manufacturing section. He is well versed in the innovative design and manufacturing techniques. Our manufacturing units spread throughout the Kashmir valley where no less than 400 artisans work under his direct supervision. The other two sections of the firm are domestic trade and international trade. His two sons, Mr. Zameer Naqash and Mr. Jameel Naqash, manage these departments respectively. These young men deal with the everyday challenges of production and trade, and take the firm's mission statement to heart, to maintain the reputation and prestige of this dynastic family business. These gentlemen possess every quality of the talented manufacturer and successful tradesman. Mr. Khrusheed Ahmad Naqash and both of his sons have inherited this manufacturing skill and trading ability from their forefathers who have been recognized as peerless leaders in their field for many generations Such trading and manufacturing ability and skill is simply in their blood.
All three sections of our firm work seamlessly to best meet our customers' desires and needs. Our artisans, trained by Mr. Khrusheed Ahmad Naqash, have received awards for their wonderful craftsmanship. One of our artists, Mr. Nisar Ahmad Wani, was sent to Japan by the Indian government to demonstrate our country's best workmanship skills He received a commendation for his work. Because of these skills, we have a growing global market. We do business throughout all of South-east Asia, Europe, the USA, and Japan.
